Yoga means "union" and the practice seeks the unification of mind body spirit. There are many forms of yoga that are practiced and at Tallawah Yoga we provide Hatha, Restorative, and Vinyasa practices. You may find that some of our sessions have a blend of styles. Our sessions focuses on the use of asanas (poses), pranayama (breathwork), and mantras (affirmations) to steady the mind, and working towards more balance, strength, relaxation, and a chance to learn to embrace the present moment and ultimately feel good in our bodies and within ourselves. All offerings are beginner friendly and private sessions customized to suite your needs.

You get the Tallawah Yoga experience in an online class, pop up events, or at your own personal event. See below for more details.
What We Offer
Our Hatha Flow
A Hatha flow is a foundational style that is done at a moderate pace, holding and exploring postures while incorporating breathwork, meditation, etc. At Tallawah, this style is the basis on which our class offerings are provided.

Vinyasa is a style of yoga derived from or can be seen as a type of Hatha yoga. Such classes are at a quicker pace guiding movements with each breath. This style is designed to activate heat within our body, moving quickly through a sequence of poses that will strengthen and tone the body and activate focus.
Gentle and Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is intended to relax the body and activate the parasympathetic side of the nervous system. These classes will incorporate blocks, pillows, blankets, etc. to provide you with the ultimate relaxation experience.

Our evening sessions tend to be a blend of Gentle and Restorative yoga practices.
